West Coast Wilderness Trail without the rain is an awesome ride. It is an easy trail to do with great views and great tracks I think the best thing about it is that it has a bit of everything; forests, lakes, rivers, river crossings, swing bridges, walkways, roads and old history along the way. The only thing between Kumara and Hokitika is Cowboys Paradise which is a one saloon town with instant coffee and pies, so you will have to go without latte on this trail. I was originally going to go to Ross, but made Hokitika home as we need to recharge the camper and can do a bit of washing. Tomorrow I will add an extra 30km to my journey.
